Joseph Barone (known on deviantART as simply DES1GN) is a Chicago-based freelance designer specializing in abstract and minimalist digital art. Other mediums he has been known to dabble in include photography, 3D, photo-manipulation, vector, and collage work.



Joseph currently attends The Illinois Institute of Art, Schaumburg, his concentration being Visual Effects and Motion Graphics.



Joseph has lived in Chicago all of his life, and he attributes much of his artistic inspiration to the city of wind. He likes to travel, having been to Italy, New Zealand, Australia, Germany, and dozens of U.S. States.
